The prices for food in Ostrava are lower than in other cities, e.g. Prague. This will help participants economise on the use of their limited financial resources and allot these funds to other causes — for example, travelling. Average food expenses are about 140 Euros per month if you mainly eat at home and at a students’ canteen, and about 190 Euros if you eat more frequently at restaurants. In Ostrava, there are a lot of restaurants which offer a wide selection of dishes for reasonable prices. For example, a business-lunch costs 3 Euros on average.
Our programmes’ participants will get an international ISIC card, which will enable them to get students’ discounts e.g. in restaurants, museums and excursions, buying transport tickets and so on. This card will also enable you to eat in a students’ canteen which is situated 15 minutes by public transport from Cloverleaf Language School. A typical lunch costs 1,5 Euros.
