Ostrava
Ostrava is the third largest city of the Czech Republic. The city’s history and growth are associated with the processing of high quality black coal deposits. Although steel mills and mines are not so attractive for tourists, the city of Ostrava has its own charm and boasts unique landscapes and landmarks typical of the Czech Republic.
At present the city is developing very quickly. In 2012 a new part of the city centre called “Nova Karolina” was built which became a major trading and business centre with a large number of shops, retail space, offices and new housing.
