Orlik nad Vltavou
Orlik nad Vltavou was built in the 13th century as a small royal fortress for guarding the local ford. Later rebuilding transformed it into a strengthened fortress, which lost its function over the course of time.
The current form is the result of pseudogothic rebuilding in the middle of the 19th century. The magnificent view of the vicinity from the grand fortress on the rocky cliff changed after the building of Orlicka reservoir, which is now used for water tourism and hiking.
